Objective
Pocket Kingdoms is a Roll & Write game in which players try to use the same die roll to build buildings in their kingdom and to take advantage of the gradually emerging landscape as profitably as possible.
Mechanism
All players take their turn at the same time. They choose 2 out of 3 dice and use them on their construction area to build buildings, ships or fields that they add to their kingdom when completed. Depending on the built-up area in the single districts, forests, waters or mountains are drawn with the result of the third dice. These landscapes increasingly reduce the available construction space, but – if placed correctly – also provide valuable points for the final settlement.
